Bye-Bye

Not to be Reproduced, 1937 by the Belgian surrealist René Magritte
Pic prompt courtesy of The Mag 161

You reproduced our vows,
and try to seek forgiveness now?

The lies you left behind
tattooed within my mind,

written on the face you hid
in another woman's bed.

Your image just an echo,
a double-vision foe.

All I want to see
as you walk away from me

is the back of your greasy head.

He ought to be told the feel of things. The stronger the better! Nicely Laurie!

I could feel the anger in the words! Best to get rid of a greasy head anyway!

Captures a hurt and embues a shame. Nice spin on the prompt.

...and he shall count himself lucky she doesn't take a frying pan to his greasy head as well! Shame, shame is his middle name! Bravo- I felt the surge of strength pull in each line! To the finish of him!
